About us

Maria Grazia Antoci is a lawyer based in Florence qualified in 1993 and specialised in private law and international private law. She studied at the University of Florence, Italy (summa cum laude) and she  completed three-year Post graduate Studies at “Scuola di Specializzazione in Diritto Civile”- Directed by Prof. Pietro Perlingieri – University of Camerino (Italy) (summa cum laude).

After a work  experience  in a London based  law firm, she returned back to Florence setting up her own “boutique firm” helping clients with interests spread across the world to solve matters involving different countries and jurisdictions. Maria Grazia has been mainly assisting members of the British Community, living or having interests in Italy, in cross-border legal matters. Her main areas of work are estate planning and Wills, administration of estates in cross-border successions and property law, European and international family law, fashion law and art law.  

She is a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), member of “STEP – Advising Families Across Generations” (http://www.step.org/).

Her experience of working with the British Community (or otherwise English speaking clients) as well as with the British Consulate in Florence started in 1995 (the Consulate was closed in 2011). She was Honorary Secretary for Tuscany of  the British Chamber of Commerce for Italy (BCCI) from 1996 to 2006 and since 2015 she is a member of the Governing Board of the British Institute of Florence.

Maria Grazia has also been acting for more than 20 years to support non profit organizations (Cittadinanzattiva), mainly  dealing with legal cases and critical aspects related to healthcare system, medical negligence, and protection of vulnerable persons.She  is a member of the governing board of Cittadinanzattiva Toscana and was appointed as Coordinator for Tuscany of “Giustizia per i Diritti” (Justice for Rights) the network for legal protection of human rights of the association “Cittadinanzattiva”, and she has been assisting the “Tribunale dei Diritti del Malato” (Tribunal of Sick People’s Rights) as well as the other networks of  the associationCittadinanzattiva.

Maria Grazia is member of lawyers’ associations like Camera Civile (in which she is a member of “Collegio dei Probiviri”) and EAPIL.

Maria Grazia had teaching experience as professor at Pepperdine University International Program- Florence (courses in English) and  at Polimoda, International Institute of Fashion and Design- Florence Courses in English on Trade Marks – Industrial Design – Made in Italy protection (Luxury Management Master-Fashion Marketing and Merchandising Master).

She participated as speaker to several seminars/courses on cross-border successions and legislation on non-profit organizations organized by Camera Civile, Step and Notarial Foundation (Fondazione del Notariato, EU Project EULAWINEN) as well as on fashion law and trade mark protection.

Maria Grazia wrote a book  on “Fashion Law” (“Il Diritto e la Moda” Franco Angeli Editore, 2005) and more recently (2015-2019) several papers  and a book chapter on cross-border successions.

Maria Grazia speaks English fluently (C2 level), and  French (C1 level).

Chiara Fusi collaborates with the Antoci Law Firm, dealing with Immigration Law and Anti-discrimination Law,

She attained an ordinary (three-year) degree in legal studies at the University of Pisa, completing her degree with a thesis on the subject of European Union Law entitled “The European Order for Payment Procedure”, and in 2010 attained a Master’s Degree in Law at the same university with a thesis on private and procedural international law entitled “Analysis and centrality of the limit of public order in the evolution of law on the subject of private investment”. She perfected her academic training, immediately after graduating, by attending the “Migration and EU Law and Policy” Summer School organized by the European University Institute of Florence.

From 2010 to 2012 she completed her two-year traineeship with the Antoci Law Firm and passed her lawyer’s qualification examination in 2013. 

Since then, she has consolidated his professional experience in the field of immigration law by participating in important European projects and providing assistance and advice both in administrative and judicial areas.

Avv. Chiara Fusi

Graduated in Law at the University of Florence in 2018 with a thesis in Comparative Law, as part of the Erasmus + program, she attended an academic year at the University of Leicester School of Law – United Kingdom – where she improved her language skills and her knowledge of legal English.

She is enrolled in the Register of Trainee Lawyers at the Florence Bar since 2018 and in the same year she began collaborating in Avv. Antoci’s Law Firm.

She is gaining experience in the field of International Private Law, Civil law and Administrative law.She carries out ongoing assistance activity in the following areas: International contracts and Cross-border successions, Public contracts, Local public services, Town Planning and Construction, Environmental Law, Anti-corruption and Transparency Regulations, Corporate Criminal Liability pursuant to Lgs. Decree 231/2001, Privacy.

Dott.ssa Chiara Muccigrosso

Graduated in Law at the University of Florence since April 2020 with a thesis in Tax Law, summa cum laude, entitled “Local taxes and management of tourist flows”.

She is registered in the Register of Trainee Lawyers at the Florence Bar Association and carries out her legal practice at the Law Firm of Avv. Antoci, in which she mainly deepens the study of administrative and tax law, as well as civil law.

Claudia speaks fluently French (C1 level).
